Peter's hair is among the seven wonders of the world. (It's tied for fifth with a Belgian mustache, if you must know.) So what do we do? Deface it with an array of man-made horrors, of course!
Hey guys! Earlier this week we got ourselves dressed up and stood still just long enough for Kevin to snap some promotional photographs! This one of all three of us is probably my favorite.
Alex shows off his latest bumps and bruises, along with an insanity so epic we had to post a video about it.
This is a real conversation. There's nothing at all unusual about two guys just standing in front of a dilapidated old house in the middle of nowhere, bantering about filming and smog. Nope, nothing unusual at all.
More text. This time, with a twist!
In my last post, I mentioned that I'm trying to take some time off to rest and recuperate. What I didn't mention is that, for me, taking time off is just an opportunity to geek out about something or other.
Well, this time it was a cipher. (Yaay!) If you recall, I posted an early attempt at a decent cipher way back in 2007. It was a blast to work on, and it was cracked in less than a week.
This time, I came up with a couple of neat tricks and I doubt it will be reversed so quickly. ![]()
Check it out below, along with a couple of hints I've thrown in for fun.
Updated July 9th with more details and a sample implementation.
Text-only today, fellas! Sorry!
I would like to point out (and possibly even dwell on) the irony of the fact that so far, today, the only person who has wished me a happy 4th of July is one of my friends from England. While I am aware of the English penchant for wry humor, I think she was being quite sincere. (After all, there was a virtual cupcake involved, and cupcakes are the sincerest of all desserts.)
I'll avoid drawing any sweeping conclusions from this, and instead simply wish you all a happy 4th of July, regardless of your intention (or lack thereof) to celebrate it. ![]()
As for what else is up…
I'll be posting more information later, but check us out on Twitter or Facebook!
Our presence in social networking circles is still in its infancy, but I'm really hoping to make a strong showing so people can really feel like they've connected to us.
Also, new Markley Bros. banner! (ftw? you decide!)

Sorry for the confusion everybody. I knew we would throw some people for a loop when we moved everything around. If you're one of those people, I hope this helps.
Yaaaay! We moved things around again! This is hopefully the last big shuffle for at least a while. Please read on…
Hey guys! I just thought you should know that we're all really excited over here. The themes are now live on both the Blog site and the Entertainment site. And even better, we've posted a new Announcement video up on Markley Bros. Entertainment!
Check it out and have a great day! ![]()

So, I find myself with a moment to kill, so I thought I would write up a quick note on how things have been going...
If you didn't recognize the Boolean OR, you probably misread the title of this blog entry. (Sorry, very geeky I know…) ![]()
Not much to say; we've been extremely busy recovering from the previously-mentioned disaster. We definitely lost some time, but (thanks to the insurance company) we didn't really lose much money.
We also lost a significant amount of time due to an astonishing series of fumbles on the part of our new financial institution. (We switched away from PNC, just because.) I would rake our new bank over the coals for the hassle, but you can tell they're just trying so hard… It almost seems like being angry at these guys would be like being angry at the Keystone Kops.*
Anyway, Peter's been off like a shot for several days now, I'll be back on the proverbial horse starting tomorrow. Look for a new video blog entry in a couple of days. ![]()

* – Sure, they're idiots. But if you get all apoplectic about it, what does that make you?
Hey all, Alex Markley here (as usual) and I have a question for you...
Folks, an update is in order on my end. That's how it is, plain and simple. I can't just drop off the face of the earth nearly six months ago and not, at some point, give you all an explanation. The first reason is as plain and simple as the order of business: I'm as bad at doing regular blog entries as I am at doing journal entries - meaning I stink at it. The second reason is that I've been spending my time elsewhere. Don't all looked shocked at once.
Another video blog entry! What a treat! The highlights:
» Android video still broken.
» Code push tonight.
» My hair.
Give the video a watch and see for yourself!

Hey everybody! Alex here, and I just wanted to let you all know we're not dead over here! (Yaay!)
I know we haven't posted any amazing video blog entries or unveiled any new Earth-shattering creations lately, but we have been working on some pretty crazy stuff over here.
